I got to test out a Head Snuggler... basically what it is a support for your child's head. You put it over the back of the car seat or stroller etc. and you place it over their forehead. It keeps your child's head against the back of their seat which helps prevent any strain on their necks when they fall asleep (and have bobble head).
I found that this really worked...but got a TON of stares while I had her in the stroller. So... I think I'll keep it in the car for trips up to the cottage. It was easy to use... just had to slip it on the back of her car seat. She didn't let me put it on her while she was awake...so we had to slip it over once she fell asleep in the car.
Obviously you want to make sure that it doesn't cover their face...but honestly.. this thing is pretty tight on the chair...so even when she was awake she couldn't play with it that much. It comes in a bunch of colours (I got charcoal)...is stretchy and has Velcro down one side to make it easier for you to get it on the car seat. There are also 2 holes at the top so you can slide the handles of your umbrella stroller through... I don't think I'll be using it in the stroller...but I like it for long rides in the car...especially for when she's already asleep and doesn't play with it.
It also doesn't take up a ton of room when it's off the seat.I just rolled it up and threw it in the centre console.
Thanks to Melrose Kids for letting me try out a Head Snuggler :)

My 3 year old is rear facing and we don't have a problem with her head slumping forward.
really? This thing is a joke. whats next, a strap to physically hold the paci or bottle in a kids mouth?
If the child were still RFing(as recommended by the AAP) then this wouldnt be an issue.
A child that age needs to be rear facing. It is 500% safer. Please look up extended rear facing. Head slump is no issue if the child is turned back around :)
This isn't really a genuine product is it!??!?!
