Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give you a hint as to what's coming up in the month of May!!! Here's a hint... Me + Nutrisystem = Nutrisystem Nation!!! What it is you ask? Not gonna give you all the deets... but in 1 month (exactly actually...lol)...you will start seeing blogs once a week from me... which will include my thoughts on their products, some photos... a video blog here and there (we'll see how I'm gonna do this one... ) and you'll be along for the 4 month ride with me as I take on Nutrisystem! Super excited!!!

Can't wait to start! I'd love to hear if anyone else has tried Nutrisystem... what should I expect? Hurtles you overcame (or didn't)... you know.. all the low down! Wacky Jacqui's Designs - Product Review

Wacky Jacqui's Designs asked me if I wanted to have a blog make-over..... um... ya!! LOL! Whatcha think? Sweet eh? Jacqui was awesome to work with... we sent a ton of emails back and forth...and she came up with this! What I love... the colour... hello! It goes perfectly with my logo, and incorporated my storks.... which I totally miss :)

I mean she totally did everything! Made me 2 new buttons...added the social media buttons...so I can save space and not have to list ALL of them.... added the new drop down menus at the top (that's where all the giveaways and blog hops are) don't worry I didn't get ride of them! I think its really neat and clean. Looks more professional...and honestly... Jacqui was great... I totally had input in everything (gave her the idea for the button...and she surprised me with the other one... it's awesome Jacqui btw).

I played around and got rid of some of my old buttons and stuff... I made another tab and put all of them there... I'm kinda thinking I have too much unnecessary "stuff"... on my side bars.......LOL. Jacqui was nice enough to leave them all there...but really... it didn't suit the "new look"....so out they went. Then I just moved some of the stuff that was on the left side bar...to the right to even it out once I got rid of all the buttons I didn't want anymore. She also made me a contact form! I posted it for you all to see... so its the entry right after this one :)...it can also be found in the top bar!

Another thing you'll notice... I'm going to stop using a signature at the end of my posts. Let me know what you think...like it? love it? bring it back? - Just want to streamline everything, but would love to hear all your feedback!

Milkmate - Review and Giveaway!!

 So I got a TON of product from Milkmate. What it is...is a holder for milk, juice boxes both the thin and thicker ones... that has a bottom to fit into all your rounded accessories... IE... stroller... car seat etc. I know I'm one of those people that HATE the fact that M can't put a juice box in her stroller... so I find that I end up dumping it into a sippy cup. Well... I'm tired of doing unnecessary dishes...and here's the answer. I have a ton, so friends... that are in my area... give me a shout. I have a few friends that I already gave them to.... both liked them... they fit in the deepest holders..... I liked it for the car the best! I was able to keep her drink within my reach for when she wanted it... and we use the skinny juice boxes....which sat deeper in the Milkmate....which meant... she couldn't squeeze the box...which is an added bonus.

Lovely Baby and Mommy CD (Tomoson) - Product Review

I received a CD from Lovely Baby CD. It has 10 different songs on it.... good mix.... made specifically for mommies, babies and toddlers. There is a range of different CDs that help educate you children (prenatal to toddler), stimulate their brains and give parents another way to interact with their children.

What did we think? I liked the music and the male singer on the CD.. but the baby voice that is in the songs... both "M" and myself didn't care for. I think we both would have liked the CD more if it has a real child's voice rather than a simulated voice (or at least it sounded like a simulation). It's really high pitched...but the actual music is really nice. The actual songs are different than the regular songs you hear on these types of CDs which is a nice change as well.

Brag About It - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a ring for review from Brag About It! Melissa let me design the ring... so I thought about it and decided to have the word "Family" on one side and centered on the opposite side of the ring... a heart. I LOOOOVE this! Brag About It makes stamped silver jewelry...all personalized...and funky! All are different and no two are alike! Melissa is a mother of 2 boys that started making jewelry after having her second child.

Here's why I like it so much... the silver is great... I got to design my own piece...it came with a polishing pad... shipping was CRAZY fast... and she picked the perfect font for the ring too. Also, I haven't really seen many places do these...so I was really interested in seeing if they were as nice as they looked.

Girl Gotch - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I received some Girl Gotch for "M" to try out! Yep...you guessed it... underwear for little girls... super funky and super cute! The founder decided to design these for all those moms who have issues finding underwear that actually fit their girls properly. They stay in place, don't ride up and the cotton/spandex blend is perfect...makes them nice and soft. I received a pack of briefs and a pack of boxers. Each pack has 3 pairs (different colors)... briefs were...pink, blue and purple....the boxers were yellow, green and orange....all neon...love it! So bright...wash well.. and "M" wasn't bothered by them at all. Size 2 was still a bit big for skinny minny.. but the thick waistband helped them stay up!

I think "M" thought the boxers were totally shorts... she wouldn't let me put her pants back on once I changed her into them... LOL. So these will be perfect for under loose clothing and even jammie bottoms at night in the summer. The briefs are her fave... how do I know you ask? She told me... lol...man she's talking up a storm now... so when she said...  "Mommy... me love dis' one"... I kinda got the hint! LOL

Baby Time Show & Fisher Price Media Lunch and Learn

I got a chance to go to the Baby Time Show at the International Centre... it was much better than last springs show. Plus I got to walk around and meet a lot of the people I have been doing reviews with... including the lovely ladies from Luvali, Sweet Pea Baby Food, Wee Welcome and of course I stopped to hang out with the Oh Baby! crew for a bit!

I also was given the opportunity through Oh Baby! to go to the Fisher Price lunch and learn! M had a blast running around and playing with all the cool toys... only a couple of altercations with other kids... she seems to get pushed out of the way a lot... but no harm no foul... and the mommies totally apologized... so no big deal. I was more worried about M turning around and clocking someone.... she must be tired of getting stepped on and pushed out of the way... I know I would...lmao.

There was a ton of information about new and existing products... how they help with children's developmental stages..and really... how fun they are too! M even got to take home a tea set.. which she loves btw. She's very social..and shares well... and actually has very good manners... so I liked their choice for her age range. We also had the opportunity to ask any questions... and really... something has been bothering me...since she received the Little People's Barn... ok... there's no spot for the goat... and it's driving me nuts! There's spots for all the other animals... and M knows all the sounds and which spot each one is suppose to go in... but the goat is always left out! Soooo tired of her asking.."what's this?"... because its the only animal who doesn't have a "home"... LOL. Dr. Deborah S. Weber (expert in childhood development) was there to present us with the information and answer any questions.... and btw... she's taking the "goat issue" back to their team... LOL!

It was really nice to see everyone and put a face to a name in many cases! M had some fun... we walked around.. I found that potty seat I was looking for... and we saw some friends! Good day!

McCain Purely Potatoes (BzzAgent) - Product Review

I got to try a bag of McCain Purely Potatoes® Potato Chunks for a campaign through BzzAgent. They are real potatoe chunks that come, washed...peeled and cut.... in a microwavable bag (cook time 11-13 min)... then you can mash them after...which is exactly what I did. I liked that they were easy and quick to make.. I did find that even with adding...some milk...and sour cream...that they did seem dry still. I'm totally all about making dinner easy to make...but I did find that this was a little overboard even for me. Maybe I'm a little old school.. but I really don't think it's that bad to boil some potatoes for dinner...lol. Price wise... you obviously pay for convenience.. I think they were about $3 for the bag... so really... in perspective....I'd rather by a huge bag of potatoes for a little bit more :)

Overall... good for a quick dinner.. but totally can't replace the good old stove top method! Thanks to BzzAgent and McCain for letting me try these out!
