April LittleEcoFootprint Box Review

April's box has been received and I think it is now my fave one so far! Was so excited when I opened this one!! Here's what we got!

Earth's Berries - soap nuts are as environmentally friendly as you can get.... they are used in replacement of laundry detergent. I have used a similar product in the past... these I liked.... clothes came out soft and were scent free, meaning I could even wash baby T's clothes with them.

Maple Hilll Dryer Balls - $7 coupon code - minimum order is $12.95... I was hoping to order these... but shipping is $9 to my area. I wish a set were in this months box rather than a coupon code because I wouldn't pay more for shipping than the product :(. I heard these are awesome replacement for those dreaded dryer sheets!

PRANA - we received a bag of the Machu Pichu mix. This was AWESOME....mmmm...sooo good! It had a bunch of different nuts and berries I've never tried before...but ended up loving. It had white mulberries...incan goldenberries, goji berries and a ton of nuts....which are all good sources of antioxidants, protein and iron.

Re-Wood Toys - we received a wooden boomerang teether in walnut. T loves it..and I love that it's natural and non-toxic. His tiny hands can hold on to the teether and I liked that I could use natural cleaning products or just vinegar and water to clean it. Loved that these are also made in Canada!

Smith Farms - I received the Red Berry Lip Tint...LOVE IT. It gives a hint of color and makes my lips so soft and shiny. Some of the ingredients include alkanet root extract, cocoa butter and sweet orange essential oil (which means it smells awesome too).
Wee Woolies - we received a merino beanie and I LOVE IT! It looks so cute on T and the color is so bright...even after a few washes! It is made from 100% merino's soft, light weight and his skin didn't have any reactions to it. Also...made in Canada!!! Yay! Not sure how long this will fit does have a bit of stretch so I'm hoping it'll get us through ball season for those cooler nights. T does have a big head though! LOL.

This is now my new favorite box... all the products were awesome and I will definitely be re-purchasing some when I run out!

Real Kids Shades - Product Review and Giveaway

I recieved a pair of sunglasses for M and for T for review from Real Kids Shades. I have done a review for them in the past, but was excited that they reached out with some of their new styles. Everyone knows how important it is to protect their children's skin with sunscreen... but how many protect their eyes with sunglasses? Exactly. We actually wear sunglasses....and after my first review with Real Kids Shades, I understood how important it really is. Real Kids Shades educates the public on why sunglasses are such an important part of every day life which is awesome because it's not just a sales pitch.

M received a pair of Flex Duo Shades in pink and orange. They are made from rubber with shatterproof lenses...and are even water and rust proof. They come with a neoprene strap that can be added and removed easily and have 100% UV protection. M loved them... they are totally her style and I'm happy that they work well and she looks awesome in them!

T received a blue hat and sunglasses combo pack. Both the frames and lenses are polycarbonate, there are no arms on these ones they have a band on them to keep them on. The hat is UPF 50...bucket style hat in baby blue. These are also shatter, water and rust proof and are also compatible with prescription lenses. That's awesome for the little ones who need to wear glasses! The set was a bit big for T yet, but it'll be perfect this summer!

Thanks to Real Kids Shades for sending us out a few pairs!

Mustela - Product Review

I received a Foam Shampoo for Newborns and a Stretch Mark Double Action Cream from Mustela for review. The Foam Shampoo for Newborns is only to be used on the scalp as it helps keep away cradle cap without drying out their sensitive skin. This shampoo is hypoallergenic  easy to use and smells awesome!!! I liked that the foam didn't run and held it's shape so T-man didn't get it in his eyes (it is sting free don't worry).

The Stretch Mark Double Action Cream is said to help the development of stretch marks....this unfortunately I couldn't test.... way past the point of no return I'm afraid..LOL!!! I liked the consistency of this cream and how soft it made my skin feel. Some of the ingredients include soy and avocado peptides, sophora japonica and their patented stretch mark help prevent stretch marks and minimize ones that are already there. I liked that I didn't feel greasy after putting this on and that my clothes didn't stick to me....which a lot of other creams make me feel like. I also liked that you could use this while nursing.

Mustela carries a ton of stuff for Mom and Babe. Hopefully I can try out some more on T in the future... they have a HUGE baby line! Thanks Mustela!

DaddyScrubs Certified New Daddy Gift Set - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a Certified New Daddy Gift Set from DaddyScrubs for review. The gift set includes a new daddy t-shirt, custom picture frame magnet, and pen set with pocket protector and 4 pens and packaged nicely.  The t-shirt is 100% cotton, on the thicker side and all the printing is don't really well. It's soft, preshrunk and washes well. I liked the fit of the shirt and it's really comfy...I totally stole it a few times...LOL. The magnetic picture frame is cute, perfect for any new Daddy's fridge! The magnet is really strong and it can be stuck anywhere. The pocket protector and pens are a cute idea. The "I'm the Daddy" pens write well, are silver and blue and have a comfortable grip on them.

Overall, this is a really cute idea for a new Daddy! I do think that they should have the option of maybe adding a mug or some chocolate cigars to this...think it would round out the gift set nicely. Thanks DaddyScrubs for sending us out one to tryout!

DaddyScrubs Daddy Tie - Product Review and Giveaway!

I received a Edgy Daddy with Hearts tie for review. It is actually really cute! It is a red 100% silk woven tie with Daddy and hearts all over it. It also comes in a cute box with a quote printed in the lid.

The hubby isn't into all the mushy Daddy stuff....but he actually really liked this. It's funky enough that he'd actually wear it, and it's not cheesy like most Daddy ties (whether they are novelty ones or not). Plus it being such good quality and an awesome color, makes it awesome.

It is easy to tie in your favorite knot and didn't crease when you had to re-tie (which everyone does at least once or twice) - trying to remember how to tie a tie can be trying on the best of days! LOL.'s cute, good quality and something hubby would actually wear! Thanks to DaddyScrubs for sending him out one!
