Oxygen Pur - Product Review

I received a bottle of Oxygen Skin Serum and a Pomegranate Nourishing Skin Serum from Oxygen Pur for
review. Both serums use technology to infuse oxygen while making them free of chemicals so even breast feeding Mama's can use it! The Oxygen Skin Serum is used to regenerate your skin cells from deep within to bring back the elasticity to your skin by hydrating it and helping to reduce wrinkles and damage from the environment. This is great after a microderm or peel too!

The Pomegranate Nourishing Skin Serum has the original serum but adds omega-5 from the pomegranate seed oil to help sooth and heal your face while giving it the extra boost of nutrients. It also helps reduce any blotchy patches you may have.

I liked that they absorbed quickly and my face and neck felt really soft after both products. Plus, no fragrance, parabens...phathlates or sulfates....and it wasn't greasy or sticky. The kicker is... they gave me a tip...use it as a diaper balm...buh-bye diaper rash! So...what did I do? Tried it on Mr. Drooly face's breakout and it was gone in 2 days!

Thanks Oxygen Pur!

Totseat - Product Review

I received a Totseat by Svan for review. What is it??? .... a chair harness...for those times you didn't bring a
booster or yours doesn't fit properly to the type of chair at the restaurant. There are a few things that stood out to me about this... #1... totally portable! I don't mean, lets stick this in the car... I mean.. stick it in the diaper bag type of portable!!! Plus, it comes with it's own carrying case which is awesome!!! #2...its fabric which means, washable!!! #3 it has a 3 point harness...so it was super easy for T to use.

How do you use it? Simple... unwrap... stick it over the back of the chair, put your little one in the front, lift the flap and buckle. Voila! It also comes with a strap to wrap around your LO and the chair if needed..or can be used as back support if the chair you are trying to put it on has a gap. T didn't need it, so I felt it to be more useful to wrap around the chair as another layer to protect it. Click HERE to check out an installation video... maybe the way I explained it didn't make sense to you....hahaha!!!

I liked that this washed well and the pattern I received was great for either child...and that I can use it on virtually any type of chair!

Thanks to Svan for sending us out one to try!

BA STAR - Product Review

I received a body shimmer base and a stardust in chocolate from BA STAR for review. The base is used as a kind of glue to stick your shimmer too. The base is awesome!!! It comes in a gloss tube/applicator form and you can add it anywhere you would like. Then you add the stardust and it sticks to it like glue! This worked great... it wasn't sticky, it didn't run and lasted all day long. Plus, if you wanted to do something funky with your make-up you can use this to make the designs and help it to start put!

The stardust is a mineral powder that is loose and can be applied with brush or even fingertips. Both products were easy to use and stayed on forever. They also come in a ton of colors...especially bright ones which are great for dance, gymnastics and cheer competitions!!! I likes the chocolate because I can use us a little for a day time look or add some black liner and make a look for going out at night.

Thanks BA STAR!

Bella Bundles - Review and Giveaway

I received a Bella Sleep Sack by Bella Bundles for review from Celebrity Baby Trend Expert, Rachel
Florio-Urso. I actually received a pink one for review, but with me having a boy... I asked that they sent me a black one and I offered to give the pink one away for a giveaway!!! They agreed, so I received the Ring Dot black and white pattern! The pattern is really cute and I liked that it could be for a boy or girl. Plus, I love sleep sacks! especially with Mr. Rollie-Pollie! I liked that the snaps were right down the middle and also at the shoulders, and they were strong too... so even when T pulled at them he couldn't get it open. He liked to undo his diaper now so I was scared that he was actually going to be able to take this off, but he couldn't. Awesome!!!

I liked that the sleep sack is 100% cotton which makes it easy to wash. The fabric didn't fade or pill when I washed it numerous times and I liked that the seams didn't lift away from each other after washing it so much. The inside of the sleep sack is REALLY soft....T likes to rub his feet together all the time so he was all over this...I could even hear him over the monitor kicking and giggling. This is going to be perfect for cold nights at the ball diamond or even those freezing cottage ones!

Thanks Bella Bundles and Rachel!

EatGreenTea - Product Review

I received 7 single use packs of EatGreenTea for review. I received 1 of these packs in a previous health box review, so I was excited to try it for a longer period of time this time...but unfortunately with only receiving 7 single size servings (2 of which were opened...I think the closure had just split..but I wasn't going to take the chance) so really... 5 servings, it was kind of hard to reap all the benefits in such a short time. I did find them bitter, but were easy to disguise, so that was good. I've never really been big on green tea, but always wanted to use them for the ton of benefits they give. They are great antioxidants and actually eating the whole leaf will give you the best benefits. I liked that EatGreenTea uses pure green tea leaves....so you weren't worried about ingesting anything that isn't good for you.

I also received a coupon code for 1 month free supply, which I tried to redeem on their site and it said the coupon code was not valid...tried on Amazon.com and  it wouldn't ship to my location (and I would have had to pay for the shipping as well).

Its too bad.. this is great for keeping your energy up, losing weight as well has helping keep your skin clean and regulate blood sugar! I'm going to see if I can find it in a health store near us.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Thanks EatGreenTea!

Neon Eaters - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a pair of Neon Eaters shoes for M for review in the "Bolts" print. These are really light! I noticed this right away... she didn't walk like Frankenstein in them, like she does with other shoes this style. I liked that I could bend them basically in half too! This means that they are comfy, flexible and can stand up to whatever M can throw at them. M liked that they were easy to get on..and she said they "hugged her feet". I didn't know what that meant until I took a good look. There is good arch and heel support including even the edging of the shoe.

The other thing I noticed was the sole. It is rubber and textured, but in the middle it has some added texture to make sure your LO doesn't slip on whatever their running around on. I actually like these shoes for M's indoor ones at school. They're cute, colorful, light, easy to get on and fun! Plus they're super durable and I'll be able to clean them!

Thanks to Neon Eaters for sending M out a pair to try!

'Portia' Busy Beads - Product Review

Previously I reviewed some Baby Beads from Alphabet Soup...this time I am reviewing a 'Portia' Busy Beads (teething necklace). These beads are unpainted and natural wood...plus some of the beads are wrapped in crochet....LOVE THEM. First off...the one I received is totally my style so I liked the look of them right away. Secondly, natural = bonus. Third...anything to keep T busy while nursing is awesome. We're starting to move into the more EBM stage rather than nursing because little Mr. gets distracted easily or falls asleep..or bites...these kept his attention though, which was awesome. Mind you..even when we're done nursing completely....I'll still wear these, so they'll be well used.

I loved the look and feel of these... actually I got a ton of compliments when I was wear these!!! The only thing I would add I think is a breakaway clasp...just so you don't have to put it over your head to put on, sometimes I just find it easier to undo a necklace. Just a reminder these are to keep your LOs hands busy...not their mouths!

Thanks to Alphabet Soup!

MAM - Product Review and Giveaway!!

I received a MAM Trainer and a MAM Learn to Drink Cup for review. These MAM Training cups are perfect for T to start learning how to use a cup. His little hands can hold the handles on the trainer cup and he didn't have a problem figuring out how the spout on this one worked as it is shaped more like a bottle is. It is soft for his gums and had an anti-spill click in valve too, which was great because once he figured it out he was throwing this cup off the side of his high chair every chance he got. I liked the fun characters on this cup as well, they were cute and colorful. This cup is for 4+ months.

The learn to drink one he bit more where as the trainer he seemed to suck the top. He figured out how to use this one as well, just not sure which one (if any) he liked better. I liked the shape of this cup and that it is also anti-spill. I did notice T dropped this one more (and not purposely). This cup is for 6+ months.

I loved that these are dishwasher safe, easy to use and that they fit great in the baby bag!

#ResolveTip Exchange!!!

I've started sorting through M's clothes to see what still fits...what needs to go away for next summer...what can be donated and what is trash. I've never noticed how many shirts she's completely ruined until I took the time to look through them all.

This whole thing started when she came down stairs in a pair of booty shorts...and I looked at her like she fell off of Mars! I made her get changed right away and checked the tag...yep... 12-18 months...then I started the hunt to organize her clothes. Seriously, she's 4 1/2...12-18 month clothes still fit her?

One of the pairs of shorts I found were white...well, NOT so white anymore... LOL. I remember when she was about 2 and she loved to eat pasta and one day decided to dump an entire bowl of it on her lap. Yes, you guessed it... she had those very white shorts on! While she was super cute creating the mess...it was the worst mess I've had to deal with.

I remember pre-treating them to try to help get the stain out, tried a stain remover stick, a spray, a soak....but no way! That was one stubborn stain! Honestly, nothing worked, those we ruined...that's why I was so surprised that they were still in the drawer, I could have sworn I threw them out. Who knows, maybe baby brain never really comes back!

How do you remove the stains that can save your fave clothes? Make sure you share them and you can win 1 of 12 weekly prizes ($250) or even the grand prize of $5000!!!! I would LOVE to see one of my readers cash in on that! Really... who knows stain removal more that all of the parents?? Click here to provide some of your favorite stain removing tips!

Thanks Resolve and Mom Central for letting me be a part of this campaign, I'm heading over right now to enter my tips!

YOYO Lip Gloss - Product Review and Giveaway

I received 4 of the new Justice Initial YOYO Lip Glosses for review. I previously did a review of YOYO lip gloss so when they wanted me to try the new ones especially made for Justice I said of course! I received 2 pink (bubblegum) ones with an "L", a blue one (cotton candy) with a happy face and a purple one (grape) with a star on it. All of the clips are super bling'd out, full of rhinestones and totally sparkly....and there are a ton of designs to choose them. Right away M snatched up the purple star one to clip on to her zebra backpack for school.... (I can't believe she starts school!!!).

You can clip them onto virtually anything.. I stuck one in the diaper bag, clipped in to the inside of one of the pockets so I knew exactly where to find it. Both M and I liked the colors and flavors of these...obviously these are designed more for school age girls, but I had fun with them too.

Flexi-fit - Product Review

I received a Flexi-fit potty seat from Pourty for review. I actually gave this to a friend to have...as M doesn't use a potty seat anymore and T is obviously way too small...LOL. Actually, I applied to review their other product their Pour Potty (which would have been awesome for emergency "situations") but lines got crossed somewhere.... no worries Pourty!.

The Flexi-fit is a potty seat that locks into place when you put it on the toilet. I tested the locking portion here before passing it on. It was easy to install...make sure the prongs are where your seat need them to be for a snug fit and stick it on. It squeezes together to let you be able to take it on and off which helps it give you a non-slip fit for your LO. The plastic of the seat itself is smooth and formed well and I also liked that there was a full splash guard...M never hit the floor...but I'm sure T will... actually... I'm betting on it...LOL. This seat...makes sense... you know how many times M slipped off her seat? This would have been great when she was training.

Thanks for sending one over Pourty!

Purex Plus Oxi - Product Review

I received a bottle of Purex Plus Oxi liquid laundry detergent for review along with some free coupons to give to friends. This formulation is hypoallergenic and smells really fresh and clean... I liked it, to be honest. I do use scent booster for towels and bedding but I did like this as well as it wasn't over powering.
I liked the fact that you can use this is any type of machine and that I didn't need to change how I do my laundry to accommodate a different detergent. I use cold water almost all of the time, so having this work well even in cold water was fantastic.
It is hypoallergenic which means all the LO can have their clothes and bedding washed in it...this is great for when I don't have enough of theirs to make a full load... I can stick everyone's together and no one has any skin reactions.
I did use it as a pre-treatment as well for the "blueberry monster" that visits our house... lol. As soon as T was done his breakfast I put a bit of the detergent on the stains and rubbed them together. Let it sit for a bit then threw it in the laundry with the rest of the load I was running. I was really surprised that it did get it all out.... I do think it helped that I washed it right away...so not sure if the same results would happen if the stain was let to sit for days etc.
I gave a few of the coupons away to friends and all that tried loved the formula. They said it took out anything from grass stains to pasta sauce...which is always hard to remove.
Thanks Purex and Henkel for sending us out some to try out!

Merle and Velma - Product Review

I received a Personalized Keepsake Blanket by Merle and Velma for review from Celebrity Baby Trend Expert, Rachel Florio-Urso. They were nice enough to put both M and T's names on my blanket...and I received the "Smith" one which is a blue and orange them.

There are a bunch of different styles and colors to choose from, on yes... 100% organic cotton, which makes it super soft and wash really well. The printing on the blanket is in water-based dyes that are non-toxic, which makes the blanket bright and safe for your LO. The quality of the printing is awesome too...washed great and isn't plastic so you won't ever get those crack marks that you sometimes get on clothing etc. I also liked the size of the blanket (30" x 34")....great for a stroller use and perfect for any nursery.

I'm in love with this blanket... so much so that once T and M are finished using it, I think I want to make a quilt with all their old onesies and have this blanket in the center of it...with the squares bordering it. I also liked that the blanket is double sided...which is great! T loved snuggling with this in his carrier and it was great for clipping to myself when I was carrying him around during the ball games.

This would make an awesome gift for a new baby... there are some really pretty other blankets too that have all the birth information of your LO like the "Margot".....so pretty. I loved how the different fonts and colors worked so well together...totally my style.

Thanks to Merle and Velma and Rachel for sending us out this, we LOVE IT!!!

Squooshi - Product Review

I received 1 large reusable pouch (walrus pattern) for review. They are BPA, PVC and phtalate free and have an anti-choke cap which is great. It hold 4 1/2 ounces which is good... totally enough for pasta dinner for T and I LOVE all the fun characters they have, they're really cute and I haven't seen anything like these before.

Cleaning instructions include hand washing...and top rack of the dishwasher. Filling wise, I found it a bit difficult to fill as it doesn't stand on it's own, but the size of the opening was big enough to fit a small spoon in. These are not for microwave use, totally wish it was! I did like how thick the plastic was and the strong closure.

They have some nice packs as well to get you started! Including different lids and spouts as well as labels which make them really convenient.

Thanks for sending us out one Squooshi!

Cupcake - Product Review

I received 2 cupcakes for review from Tipsy Treats. The flavors were mudslide and Hawaiian cherry. When we received them they were smushed up and melted, so unfortunately I can't review the look of the cupcakes.

I did get my cousin and husband to taste them... I'm assuming the Hawaiian cherry probably had some kind of pineapple in it (which I'm allergic too) and assumed it was the one with the red icing, but because they weren't labeled and could have been touched each other, I decided not to take the chance.

The cupcakes are 100% homemade and they have fun mixes that include alcohol in them. The verdict... they preferred the mudslide over the Hawaiian and they liked the texture of the icing on both cupcakes but did find them a bit small.

Jelly Strands Teething Jewelry - Product Review

I received a the Kate Necklace in black from Jelly Strands for review. They are a strand of beads made
from silicone and are perfect for mom to wear. T loved these....he's uber drooly and irritable right now...so these came at the perfect time. Mind you... he's been drooling since he was 6-8 weeks old and no teeth yet!

I liked that the beads are free of BPA, PVC, phthalate and lead and that it has a break away clasp. The length was a good length for me and I liked the size of the pearls as well. The best part... you can stick them in the dishwasher to give them a good wash!

They're fun to wear and Ty loved to play with them and chew on them. They also come in a ton of colors and different styles...plus they have 2 styles of bracelets too.
