Gymini Developlace - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I've worked with Tiny Love in the past a number of times, and we love their products! T still uses
his Magical Night Mobile, so when they asked us to try out the Gymini Developlace we were excited...and also had high expectations. Well, once again they delivered. This is probably one of the coolest activity center I have seen in a long time. It is colorful, comes with a ton of stuff to hang and interact with and it converts into something T can even use at over a year old. it works. You can use it as a floor mat, add the bar and have your infant play and learn to reach for items. LOs can also use it for tummy time, there's so much they can play with and look at... it's awesome. As they get older you can put up one of the sides and even play peek-a-boo through a fun hole in one of the sides. T loved this part by the way... I had him laughing up a storm, it was really fun. When your LO is ready to get moving put up both sides and they can crawl through the tunnel or all the way around and play with the activities all the way around. This is the way it is currently up in our house. M had T chasing her around the room and through the tunnel...they were having a blast!

Some of the attachments include flat numbered cards that can hang from the bars or use to play with and stick to the side of the tunnel. T loves the bigger toys that is could basically chuck across the room and then chase after or grab at when I put down both sides so he could walk around and crawl over the mat.

It's funny, every time I do a review for Tiny Love I find myself loving their products more and more. This is awesome... and I know we'll be able to use it for a really long time! I just wished they came out with it earlier so T could have used it at all stages!

Thanks Tiny Love!

Harlem Globetrotters- Fans Rule Tour!! We loved it!

We had a chance to go see the Harlem Globetrotters as part of an ambassadorship I was a part of through PTPA. I have never seen them before so I was really excited to take M and T. I've heard such great things about the Globies and this particular tour in particular so we had some high expectations. We had a meet and greet before the game which was fun and we even got to take a pic with some of the guys, and was able to hang out in one of the dressing rooms too.

The 2014 "Fans Rule" tour honestly, is great. They interact with the crowd the entire time, it's family friendly and the guys are super nice. I was surprised both kids made it though the whole evening. We actually had quite a long day, so I was kinda expecting a melt-down at some point but both M and T were totally into the whole experience! T as usual loved the music so he was pretty much dancing and clapping the entire evening. M loved all the tricks that they did, and both hubby and I could appreciate the talent of not only the entire squad, but everything that goes into a show to make it an awesome time.

I liked that they had a bunch of fun acts during the game that let an audience member be a part of the action. Best part, being able to interact during the game to vote on new rules! Yep, we voted during the show and that they had to use whatever rule was chosen during the game. You can check out the list of rules HERE. We voted for the trick shot challenge where a coach could challenge a call, and if they did the Globies had to preform the trick he described. If they made the shot, they got 5 points. If they missed, the other team got the 5 points. It was really fun to watch and they are crazy good! Some of the other ones we got were "make or miss" and "hot hand jersey". Take a look at the site to see what each of them entailed.

The 2014 "Fans Rule" tour runs until the end of April, in over 250 cities all over Canada and the U.S, so you'll have more than enough time to check them out. Looking for tickets?? Click HERE plus... if you use the discount code: PTPA you can save $7 off each ticket you buy!

Huge thanks to the Globies and PTPA for having us!

Baby Bullet - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

We received a Baby Bullet to try out. I did make all of T's food and really... not sure why I never
picked up one of these before!!! It comes with the base, 2 cups, the large batch bowl with lid plus a few blades and some storage containers. LOVED the containers!!!! You twist the lid to set the date of when it was made, they're awesome!

I liked that it was easy to use and clean, I liked that if I wanted super smooth baby food you just blend it a bit more..this is great for stage 1. If you would like more texture for babies that can handle it (stage 2) all you need to do is pulse the Baby Bullet and it leaves larger chunks in the mixture. I liked that the smaller cups had handles which made it easy to hold and feed your LO. Plus, once they are ready to have table food it makes it easy to throw in what you are eating and give it a quick puree.

Everything is BPA free, which is a must for anything baby related, and comes with some great info on making purees and healthy choices for your LO. The book includes a great layout that they call a "roadmap to success" that outlines what nutrition your LO needs at each stage and what foods can meet those needs. I was happy to see that a lot of great recipes I used with T made the cut in this book, so I know I didn't something right along the way! this! Its an all in one for any new parent! Thanks Baby Bullet!

Play-Doh Valentine's Bag - Product Review

We received a bag of Valentine's Play-doh for review. The bag comes with 15 small Play-dohs in Valentine's colors perfect for sharing with M's friends! There was 3 white, 4 light pink and 8 red along with 20 sticker tags so you can label them for your LOs classmates. These are 1oz, which is perfect size to add to loot bags for birthdays and other favors.

As usual, Play-doh is non-toxic and doesn't contain wheat. We loooove Play-doh it promotes creativity and there are a ton of fun colors and accessories to work with.

Thanks Hasbro! M is super excited to hand these out on Valentine's day!

NutriBullet - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a NutriBullet to try out with the fam and provide a review. There was a ton of stuff that
came with the base! It cam with an Extractor Blade which can literally chop up anything you throw at it! I put seeds and a bunch of tougher fruits and veggies and it had no problem breaking it all down into an awesome smoothie! In the set there is also a Milling Blade which is good for chopping up nuts or fresh herbs. Both blades never need to be sharpened and are made of stainless steel.

The Base is easy to use... fill your cup (it comes with a few different sizes) add your blade and pop it on the base. Plug the base in and all you need to do is push down and off it goes. It is actually a lot more powerful than I thought it was going to be. I liked that this didn't have any buttons or settings I had to set, and that it was small enough to stick away in a cupboard when we were done with it.

Other items included are the large cup, a small cup and some lip rings and lids as well as the user guide/recipe book and and a pocket guide to nutrition. The recipe guide had a few things we tried in it (or made versions of with what we had in the fridge). Personally I liked the pocket guide because there was some great information about produce in general, a lot of which I had no clue about like the benefits to eating kiwis and how to pick them! There is a ton of produce in the pocket nutritionist... I actually now carry it with us when we do grocery shopping or if I decide not to take it, I write little notes to myself from the guide.

I really liked how smooth it made our smoothies, sounds funny saying it...but its true. There weren't any noticeable chunks and I could even make a milkshake for M, and she likes them extra smooth! Thanks to NutriBullet for letting us try one out!
