Babybindle SeatPak‏ - Product Review

I received a SeatPak from Babybindle for review. It is a diaper bag that attaches to your infant car seat. It has 2 straps for the SeatPak to attach to the handle of your car seat, a strap to carry it alone if you like, a huge zippered area as well as a smaller zippered part at the front, for your keys and phone. The material is great because you can clean it with a few wipes. I also like that you can attach it to your stroller once your little one moves out of the infant carrier. I found that it actually fit quite a bit as well. We used it for some wipes, a change of clothes a pair of pj's and a book. Then I actually attached it to the headrest in the car, so we always had some stuff just in case of an accident or if we were out longer than expected. The diaper bag is round, which actually liked, at first I didn't think it would fit a lot, but it did and I was impressed. It is perfect for running out to the store.... don't need a purse....and the little ones have all the necessities too..it's great. The SeatPak is a quick and easy solution, to keep your hands free and keep you from having to carry too many bags at 1 time....convenient...cute... and it makes sense!

I received the Ebook Gardening with Little Miss Greenfingers; Growing Culinary Herbs In Containers - Healthy&Delicious! The book is written by Anja Koch, and is about how to grow herbs from seeds even indoors. It gives you ideas of how to grow your own herbs even in small spaces.... the best environment for which type of herbs, what you'll need to get started, how to grow them right from seeds, even the most popular herbs, what they taste like and how to cook with them.

I like the section about harvesting and preserving the herbs.... I learned a lot about how they can be stored which I found really informative. I also especially liked the section explaining how to marinate the herbs in oil or vinegar....I love oil bread dippers, so if all goes well, I'll be making my own in no time!

I've been known to have a rather black thumb when it comes to any type of plant....so going through this Ebook has got me hyped up and literally almost made me run out the door to start buying supplies. I LOVE fresh herbs... but...lets be real... I kill them...LOL. I am super excited to get started and "M" loves to plant so it's going to be really fun!

I was approached to review George's Special Dry Skin Cream and George's Light Special Moisturizing Lotion. Was excited to try a fellow Canadian's product... love to show support where I can.

The Special Dry Skin Cream is recommended by dermatologists.... and helps relieve dry skin...and it lasts. It's thick and creamy...but didn't feel greasy after, which I liked. Its great for those with eczema, psoriasis and other conditions. It is non-prescription, is fragrance free, with no additives and is perfect for the winter skin "blahs". It helped a ton with my dry hands and cuticles.

The Light Special Moisturizing Lotion you is a lighter version of the Dry Skin Cream, and is light enough for every day use. This cream I tried on my legs, took a while to rub in, which was weird at first...I guess I've been buying lower quality creams in the past because my legs stayed moisturized the whole day with this one. It is free of parabens and is hypoallergenic... which means... yes...little "M" can use it too!

I loved the story behind the cream....it all started 15 years ago... George, a pharmacist in Alberta grabbed his wife's mixer and created a product for Albertans to use during the cold winter months...and I'm sure they're glad he did!

Fun Bites - Product Review and Coupon Code!

I received a set of Fun Bites to review... one of each actually! I have used many other food cutters in the past, but when I saw these, I noticed a difference right away. I liked the shapes of these, they were easy to use and to hold....and I especially liked the popper. It is an extra piece you place in the cutter to help pop out the shapes.... trust me... this is a BIG DEAL! Do you know how many times I've riped M's shapes trying to get them out of the other cutters? Poor "M" ate more broken hearts and flowers than full ones! LOL. I washed the cutters right away and off I went making a super cute snack for "M". I liked how sharp these were....cut through anything from bread to apples in no time...and the poppers pressed them out perfectly. The checked ones are great for making adult party snacks too.... bite sized sandwiches... a snap to make! They are dishwasher safe and BPA free making my life a ton easier....and I liked that "M" had fun eating her snack.... I can't wait to use these more!!! I have so many ideas....plus... they make a fruit salad in no time....I know... I made one...hahaha!

The Slice™ Safety Cutter (Tomoson) - Product Review

I received a Slice™ Safety Cutter for review. I'll admit, I'm addicted to the show Extreme Couponing...
which is actually really funny because even though I clip some coupons...I never remember to use them! LOL. This cutter is great for clipping pretty much anything... I like using it to get in that tough plastic packaging.... you know the kind that you end up almost slicing a finger off to try to open? Ya.. I know you know what I'm talking about! LOL. I also liked it for small work like doing some crafts with "M" and stealing some recipes out of my fave cooking mag. The cutter itself is small enough to throw in your wallet...or even use the keyring hole...to keep it close. The blade is ceramic so it stays sharp, but when you run your finger across it....it doesn't feel sharp, which is great. The shape was comfortable to use too.

iMo Camera Strap - Review

I received a camera strap from iMo Camera Fashion. I chose the black and white one to review....the ends are made of leather and the strap hold 55 – 85kg! I had no problem switching out my old camera strap...so easy to "install"...lol. I loved the black background with white pattern (symmetrical....fresh...and totally me!). The underside of the strap is neoprene....just enough cushion to make carrying really easy....and it's long! Which I liked..made it easy to fling over my back when I had to chase "M" around. The stitching was sturdy..... the quick release snaps were nice and tight... so I didn't have to worry about dropping my camera.

They have a ton of different patterns to choose from... I really had a hard time choosing.... even leopard.... yes... I said it... and I was totally on the fence!

I received the BodyMind Weight Loss Hypnosis Pack. It is a set of 3 self-hypnosis sessions to help you manage and continue to lose weight, promote healthy eating and exercise. I was totally skeptical when seeing these... but I figured... I'd try it out. No.... my new years resolution isn't just to "lose weight".... its been the same one for as long as I can remember. It is....rather... to make more time for myself. If that includes heading to the gym for 45 min after work to de-stress... and the hubby picking up "M"... so be it. I run around constantly like a chicken with my head cut off....stress out over everything and really... its...well... my time. Sooooo... back to this....product. I downloaded all 3 of the sessions and popped them into my ipod. No gonna lie... if you actually listen to the sessions... you really start to relax (which helps with my new years resolution....). It was a bit weird to begin with, but once I got into it...I felt really good after. I really enjoyed the women's voice in the sessions...I can't wait to keep going with these... there's a bit of a schedule to follow (which I've started) so this is going to be really good....they've changed a skeptic into a believer :)

Wean Machine - Review

I received a Wean Machine to try out... and it's really cool! It is a handheld baby food maker.... it can squish and strain anything! It's kind of like a backwards garlic press...if that makes sense. I put in some fruit for "M" into the chamber... added the strainer on top and squished it together. The best part... it comes with a spoon that sits in the middle of the machine... so it's great for storage...plus you'll never forget it! Once the food is through the strainer the chamber holds everything so you can feed your baby right from it!

I totally wish I had this when "M" was little... wow.. I remember having to make everything...freeze it and take ice-cubes with me everywhere....having to find somewhere to heat it up... ugh..I'm having horrible flashbacks! This way you can just mash up anything that you're eating at the same time... then give it a rinse.

I was really surprise how easy it is to use, and there are different strainers so you can go from mush to chunks in 2 seconds.... and you only need 1 hand to do it....I'm impressed.

Deuce G2 - Review and Giveaway!

A while ago I reviewed a Deuce watch and loved it...so I was super excited when they asked to have a review done about the new G2. The new one has all the great qualities of the first... super flexible, comfortable to wear, easy to set...and totally perfect for the gym. The main differences are seen in form factor. The G2 is thicker than the original...and comes in different colours. Makes a huge statement when you wear it....from casual day at work to your football or baseball game in the evening. I decided to choose a small white one... as I have the black original in a bigger size. Someone out there is probably thinking... are you nuts to get a white watch? So'k a baby wipe gets off anything that made its way onto my new work out buddy. They have some basketball team branded versions of the G2 as well... totally need to see some hockey ones! Would love a Toronto Maple Leaf one!

Cat in the Hat Costume - Product Review

I have reviewed a few children's costumes in the past, so this time I wanted to try out an adult costume. The Cat in the Hat is pretty big in this household so I figured it would be really cute to do a Dr.Seuss costume. The Cat in the Hat costume is really cool.... comes with a one piece body....with the tail attached, white gloves, open face mask (for the neck and ears) and the signature red and white hat. I like that the white parts of the costume has longer fur... and that the bow is attached to the main body....so you don't have to worry about losing it! Everything is good quality... and the pricing is really good too.

I like this costume so much I think that I'm going to do a Cat in the Hat theme for her next birthday, and have a friend dress up in it! Super cute! On that note... I checked out everything about Dr.Seuss and found a few awesome websites for activities and games.

This costume will be well used that's for sure... super huge thanks to Costumesupercenter.com for another great product review! Can't wait for the next one!

Walrooz Sled - Review and Giveaway!

I was really excited when I was approached to review this product... 1...because it looks super cool....2 because its totally affordable and 3.... "M" is a total snow bunny and loves tobogganing and stuff. The really cool this is you can connect the sleds together! At least I thought it was a really good idea. I would have loved this when I was a kid... being about to go down the hill with all my friends at once! The sleds are plastic...kinda flexible....and come in red, blue, green and orange (we got an orange one). This sled by BenBat (they also make some other cool stuff.... I gotta find where I can find the GoVinci... M would love to try that out)...... and comes in 2 sizes (small and large).

Last year we made a a mini slope for her in the backyard and sent her down on a toboggan...she loved it...so I can't wait for this winter. We got a tiny bit of snow last week so I was totally dragging her all over the lawn and backyard on this little sled. I really like that it's super light weight too. It'll be easy to carry back and forth to the hill this year!

Tooth Time Kit - Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a Tooth Time kit from Tooth Timer. It includes the "Ready-Set-Brush!" booklet, a toothbrush and the Tooth Timer. The booklet has some great tips like getting your child to hold a mirror when you brush/floss their teeth so they can see what you are doing. There are also fun facts which "M" thought were funny... like...how many teeth a T-Rex had. I like that the booklet explains how to brush and floss properly while also including some fun games for the little one at the end.

The tooth brush was a basic bristled toothbrush. "M" uses an electric one at home so we brought it to preschool. They brush their teeth after lunch....so she gets hers cleaned 3 times a day, which is awesome.

Now...the Tooth Timer...super cute (shaped like a tooth)..and times 1 and 2 min intervals. Basically its an egg timer but for your teeth. "M" liked making it a game to try to beat the tooth....lol. She'd brush and brush until the bell went off. We've always brushed for 2 minutes, but used the digital timer from my electric toothbrush, I'm happy she's got her own now :)

This kit is a great idea, very informative, makes brushing fun for kids and makes life that little bit easier for parents, and helps promote healthy gums and teeth!

Zax's - Product Review and Giveaway!

I received 4 different products from Zax's Original. Adult and kids Bruise Cream, Darkspot Cream, and the Original Heel spur Cream. A ton of goodies to try out.... hands down...my fave for me is the Darkspot Cream. It kept my skin soft, and even though I don't have many dark spots... I found that any imperfections in my skin did look lighter after 3 or 4 days and it says that most people see a difference over a longer period of time. I'm sold...lol. It has licorice extract, aloe, vitamin E and a few other ingredients to help lighten even really dark spots.

The Bruise cream for me....was hard to test... I didn't have any bruises to test...but "M" had one on her knee. We tried it out... within a few days it was visible lighter and it looked like another day or so and it would be gone. Ingredients include witch hazel, and arnica. The adult formulation added menthol to the mix... which I liked when I did try it to see what it felt like on my legs. I did notice on my legs though... I do have a vein close to the surface... it didn't look as blue...so I can see that how the cream would help me. Plus, I love any leg creams with menthol in it...especially after a long day of running around.

The heel spur cream has devil's claw, ginger, arnica and menthol in it. I sometimes get sore heels... never bad enough that I would need orthotics or anything... but I'm sure one day I will. I found that the menthol in the cream helped my heels feel a bit tingly and the arnica helped the tenderness I get sometimes.

Overall, the 2 products I love..... the kids bruise cream and the dark spot cream will definitely be re-bought in this household!

I received a tester sized sample of Basa Body Coconut Lotion to review. Basa Body uses organic coconut oil and are socially conscious. Just saying...LOL

Maamam (Tomoson) - Product Review

I received a white and orange 4 in 1 towel from Maamam (the aacua 4 in 1 multi use bath towel). It can be used from newborn to toddler age... or even for Mom as an apron. It is really easy to use... I wish I had this when "M" was small, especially because she was soooo tiny. It would have made me feel more comfortable drying her off after a bath.

If you are wearing it like an apron all you do is wrap the baby in it....swaddling them while drying them off!
Great size for the towel... and the hood is big enough even for M`s big melon. She ran around after her bath (using it as a robe).... complete with snaps and velcro so she didn`t get cold running to her room to get her jammies on. I liked that the front (when used as a robe) was shorter so she didn`t trip...but low enough in the back to cover everything that needed to be covered.

Each finding on the towel is colour coded to match the function in which you`d like to use the towel... so I thought was pretty handy too. It is also 100% cotton terry...so it soaks up the water really well and is super soft!

Slanket - Product Review

I received a Sofa Safari Slanket for review! What is a Slanket you ask? A blanket with sleeves! The first thing a noticed was that it was made from a thick fleece material... and it was huge! So comfy while snuggling up on the couch on a rainy day (which we've had a lot of lately...boo). Both "M" and I could snuggle up together with more than enough room to stretch out and have one of our fur babies curl up too. I've seen the other type of branded blankets with arms....not mentioning any names... and this one is made from a thicker material and I even think it may be a bit longer too, but I'm not sure of the comparison in actual length.

They have a ton of different patterns and solids... as well as a travel version... kids versions and even a couples version...lol. They even have another version called the Koala...a throw that you can use as a pillow... and its fuzzy.

Seventh Generation Diaper Donation Program!

I received 4 packs of size 5 diapers to donate any way I would like....from Seventh Generation. I was super excited when I found of I was a part of the 2011 Diaper Donation Program! They have set a goal of a 240,000 diaper donation to over 40 shelters in NS, QC, ON, AB and BC. The greatest part.... that's about a $160,000 value which is being donated to areas that really need it, and ones that don't get a lot of support from the corporate business side.

I got to choose where I donated my 4 packs of diapers, so I figured why not help those around me! A friend of mine...her best friend had twins this year....and really... I can't even imagine having 2 in diapers...not only the expense... but...my goodness... you'd be changing diapers ALL day! I checked with Mom Central to make sure it was ok, and there was no problem there....so I gave them to my friend to give to her. I also gave her my number so I can tell her why I was giving her them.

Once she called me, I explained what the program does and who Seventh Generation is.... and all the awesome things about them. She was so appreciative.....almost in tears she said that money was a "little tight" so it helped out a ton to just not have that expense for the week. She loved how clean an natural they were too, because she said she would have loved to use more of a "green" diaper but just couldn't afford it when there ended up being 2 bums to cover...lol.

Canadian Moms.... don't forget that Seventh Generation is also doing the "Buy One Give One" program so everyone can do their own part in helping out those who need it! Bumkins Art Smock - Product Review

I received a Dr. Seuss One Fish, Two Fish art smock from Bumkins! Its machine washable and durable...ties up in the back at the top....the cuffs have a bit of elastic so they don't more and the large pocket in the front is great for holding her art supplies like her brushes and a few wet naps.

I love how bright the colours are... the pattern is AWESOME! She loves Dr. Seuss (The Cat in the Hat is her fave).....the material is stain resistant (to most things....). The smock itself...touch big for skinny minny but that's not a big deal. There are a ton of different Dr.Seuss fabrics too...Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham...but they have their funky patterns too like Robot and Flutter Floral (cuuute...btw). I also like how the back of the smock has a little rubbery feel to it... it keeps it from moving around a lot.

January Baby - Product Review

I received a toddler hat and a pair of waterproof Smittens with thumbs in fuchsia from January Baby. January Baby was started by a Mom...that like all of us had issues with our little ones keeping their gloves on! Hence.... the birth of Smittens. A pair of waterproof gloves (mine with thumbs)...that are attached to like a scarf-like fleece band....that fits through your child's jacket and out the sleeves. I like that it lays flat on her back and she didn't complain once that it was bugging her. The band is perfect for helping to keep her gloves on nice and snug. The cuff on the gloves are nice and long to go up her jacket sleeve...so she can't take them off! lol.... YAY! She tried taking them off a few times and had no luck....so I think these will be perfect for when we take her skiing for the first time this year!

The toddler hat is fleece has super cute tassels on either size of the top of the hat. It comes down both sides of her cheeks and has a strong velcro that comes together under her chin. The fleece is really thick too... and I like that it covers the back of her neck too! She'll be totally warm all winter.

They also make neck warmers and scarves....daycare approved btw!

Violight - Product Review

We received a Violight Countertop Toothbrush Sanitizer for review. It uses an ultraviolet light to disinfect up to 4 toothbrushes at one time. It sits on the counter top... plugs in... you hit the button and voila... 99.9% of the germs...gone! There is no way for the toothbrushes to touch each other, the drip cup (which is removable to clean) sits in the bottom of the cup and the top turns blue when in use to let you know that it is on. It also has an auto shut off...so ....great for cleaning right before bed!

I like that it can clean up to 4 brushes as 1 time, and it fits both regular and electric... including M's "Cinderlala" one. Its simple to use... actually, I was really impressed... brush... place it in the Violight....hit the button and I swear... easy enough for anyone to use. Did you know that a toothbrush can harbor and transmit oral viruses and bacteria? (when I read that on the side of the package, I actually felt sick to my stomach). YUCK!

Hmmm... maybe that's why I keep getting sick? Well... no longer! (thank goodness!!). The bulb lasts 2000 hours too... so I'm looking forward to many...many... clean toothbrushes! yay!

Brillkids Little Reader - Product Review

"M" and I got to try out the down loadable Semester 1 Little Reader Basic (US) from Brillkids. Basically it is a learning system for children (this version is for 6 months and up)...to teach them to read! The software is included and the curriculum includes words, images and video clips. Semester 1 and 2 combined use almost 3000 words!($149)

How does it work? Download and launch the software...make sure you're on the right lesson for the day and hit play! As you click through the lessons they show the word (like a flash card)....but you hear the word too. Then you click over to the next screen and you see a picture with the word and a verbal description. Click again and you see a video clip with verbal and the word underneath.

"M" and I have done quite a few of the lessons... the pics and vids she's all over... knows almost all of them... the words... believe it or not..she's actually picking up. I was finding it difficult to use in the system in the beginning because she knew everything, so I turned off the volume and started going through them again without the sound. She knew the pics and vids... the words... I was shocked when she figured some of them out without me helping her. One right off the bat was "Wave".... within the first 2 cycles. Crazy eh? I can't wait to do more with her. I think it was the word flash ones that helped her remember them.

The only thing I don't like....is that I have to use my computer. I wish it was on a handheld toy.....because now every time I'm near my computer she's all over my lap and touching things. But... really is that a bad thing? It means she likes the system.... but makes me a little edgy when she's all over the laptop.

Not even going to lie to say that we've even put a dent into everything this software offers yet... so we're really excited to hear the stories and go through all the curriculum! It only takes like 5 min a day..you can personalize some of it by adding your own pics and they offer a free 14 day trial (so check it out!)

I received a poly-resin keychain in the shape a baby on board sign from Wholesalekeychain.com. Its actually really cute....about the size of a quarter. Perfect for the new or expecting Mom. Or hey... even not such a newbie like me ;)

I also like the packaging... little yellow box with gift tag...would be a perfect addition to a gift basket for a baby shower or welcome home present! The keyring itself is really strong and the links in the chain were sturdy and the resin wasn't chipped anywhere.

Everyday Minerals - Product Review

I received some goodies from Everyday Minerals...and I'm one happy camper! They sent me 2 blushes...1 in"Like Lady Bird Lake" and 1 in "SoCo"....eyeshadow in "Parasail" and a shimmer in "Starry Eyed". It was like Christmas morning when I got my package!
Cheeks... Like Lady Bird Lake has a really cool sheen to it... perfect for a night out on the town. SoCo is matte with a really pretty shade of pink...that I really liked for daytime.

Eyes.... Parasail is a matte shadow that I used all over my lid... and surprisingly LOVED. I've never tried a matte shadow...usually they have some kind of sparkle to it... but I really liked this for the office! Starry Eyed is awesome... and is killer for contouring and creating a smokey eye. The fist thing that sets it apart is that it came in a roll-on form. OMG... I'm never going back to old shadows. It's brown and has like a silver flake effect to it.

I took a good look through their website...and made my wish list... I have a ahem... rather "large milestone" bday coming up... so I'm gonna milk! LOL ;) They have 34 shades of foundation, 20 face powders, 31 blushes, 84 (yes....84) eye shadows, 14 concealers...and a ton of other stuff. Everyday Minerals look for natural/vegan ingredients...even the paper they use is recycled and chlorine free. They even give you some beauty lessons and tips for using their products. Overall...awesome experience!

Bebe Oh La La! - Product Review

I received a pink petti skirt, a white posh flower headband and a white lace ruffle bloomer from Bebe Oh La La! I was really excited when I was approached by Bebe Oh La La to do a review for them...they have some suuuuuper cute stuff and are totally GTA local! I was also really excited because we haven't reviewed a petti skirt yet! Right away "M" put on her new "Cinderlala dress"..... lol and pranced around the house like a little princess. I've had numerous compliments on the headband (which I'm hoping she'll keep on for the wedding we're in this coming weekend)... and the lace ruffle bloomers were so cute... I could eat her up. She calls them her "pretty panties" whatever that means...

Everything quality wise is awesome... and I'm already planning a photo shoot to get some pics of her in the whole get up... I can hardly wait to figure it out! Oh... by the way.... if there are any photographers in the GTA that are willing to take some pics for Bebe Oh La La! ... they're looking to have some product shots done...in exchange for advertising space on the site. NaturzAire (Mothers Choice Products) - Product Review and Giveaway!!

I received a set of NaturzAire all natural reusable deodorizers. The odours (which are positively charged) are attracted to the negatively charged NaturzAire granules (kinda like kitty litter)..then they get trapped in the bag. I stuck one in the kitchen and one by the kitty litter box in the morning. By the time I got home... you wouldn't have known that there were any animals living in this house or even that garbage day was tomorrow. I honestly couldn't believe it. The best thing is... you can throw it in the bottom of the diaper pail... anywhere... and they're safe. Also... reusable... ??? like really? When you start to notice that they are losing their charge... stick it outside in the sun for the afternoon and boom... good as new. The other thing is... they are good for up to 80 ft... so you can throw it in the bottom of the laundry hamper and the whole room will become odourless.

NaturzAire makes a ton of products for around the house... but this one I'm totally sold on. They look like small bean bags.... easy to hide... and really not even noticeable. The secret to the odour catching...is a volcanic mineral, the cotton bag is 100% organic...no chemicals are used..and is safe for both pets and kids. They make 7 different products...which include... ones for the fridge... carpets and for your home.

I got to choose a pair of eyeglasses from GlassesUSA.com. I picked a pair of sunglasses. Retro frames that are aviator in a matte finish. you could put prescription lenses in them if you like (I had Lasik done years ago, so I got plain lenses). The process itself was really easy, I went online picked what I wanted, got a confirmation email once it was submitted successfully. I received the glasses in the mail pretty quickly too. The process was really easy and super fast.

The glasses themselves... I think I should have gone with a different style.. they totally didn't suit me at all... which sucks...because I've totally been wanting a pair like these! The one thing I did notice... the lenses were awesome! Super clear and crisp... way better than any glasses you can buy off the rack. I wish I could have tried them on though... so next time I order from them.. I'm going to go to a store and check out what I like then find the match on their website. That's really the only issue I had. Everything was great. They do have all the dimensions online... but to me... didn't really mean much because its not like I would take my own measurements....however if I found a pair in a store... I'd write them down so I'd know what would fit my face properly. They do have a virtual mirror.... it's actually kinda fun to use... but I guess I'm a little old school.

My NapPak - Product Review

I received a Sports themed NapPack for review. What it is... a thick mat that has a pillow and blanket attached. Then it rolls right up like a sleeping bag. It was invented by a Mom in 2001 when she realized that the mats used to nap on was not comfortable at all for her child. The school let 1 item per child so she created the NapPak to help and abide by the school's rules.

So what do we think.... it washes REALLY well...I was actually surprised...so I'm thinking "M" will have a hard time wearing this out! Well...that's if she ever actually lets it go.... she actually uses it at night in her crib...lol... so much for her pillow top mattress cover! I guess she likes it LOL! Actually she carries it everywhere now...lol.

There is just enough stuffing to be comfy but not too much to throw off the alignment of how she sleeps. The pillow runs the width of the mat and the blanket is attached along one side. This makes sure it doesn't move...ride up.. or get in your child's face.

They've just launched a few new patterns too! Cowboys and Indians...and Under the Sea. We had a really hard time trying to pick one... but ended up getting the Sports for the little Tomboy in the house. It has different sports featured on it with a blue background and a red fleece blanket. You can also have your child's name monogrammed on it if you like.

Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Toilet Bowl Cleaner (BzzAgent) - Product Review

I received a Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Toilet Bowl cleaner as part of a campaign through BzzAgent. You're probably thinking... what is it? Well, it is a cleaner that comes with a nozzle... you attach it to the inside of your toilet bowl, then all you have to do is hit the pedal it is attached to twice a day... and voila... sparkling clean. I buy other Scrubbing Bubbles products... like the toilet stamp gel thingy... I can't remember what it's called off the top of my head.... and the showing scrubbing bubbles is a life saver!

Not gonna lie, when I took this thing out of the box...it was a little intimidating... but after seeing it work... it's awesome! It squirts cleaner through the nozzle... around the bowl... and under the rim too. it actually worked really well.... it did look a little creepy though....but I like that it snuck in behind the toilet and "M" thought it was kinda cool to step on the pedal.

It last 30 days... and saves me from cleaning the toilet so that's a bonus.... I handed out the coupons (kept a few for our other bathrooms and refill ones too...LOL).... but yes.. I did part with some of the coupons and so far so good..... everyone is on their way to having a cleaner toilet bowl...LOL.

Glodose - Product Review and Giveaway

I received a Glodose for review. What it is...is a medicine dropper that lights up. It is invented by a Mom, pediatrician approved and won a 2011 PTPA award. Hit the button on the top to turn the light on and then you can use the dropper to measure the proper medicine dosage.

Any time "M" is sick I have to run all the way down stairs...measure her medicine....go all the way back up, turn on her night light and then give her her medication. With this I can do everything in her room, hence why her room is it's new home.

We tested it out with yogurt and it worked really well. I liked how accurate it was...even with the thicker liquids. Plus she didn't have a problem having her yogurt shooters! LOL. I really liked that it was easy to use and that it was invented by a Mom......

Koobli - Product Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a couple of Koobli's for review (one of each colour and size - blueberry and cherry). Basically what it is.... is a smock...protects your clothing from spills, messes... and all of life's little accidents! They are made from 100% micro polyester suede, slips on...covers right to your knees, has long sleeves and Velcro's shut round the neck. I thought it was really good for cleaning.... and painting with "M".

I really liked the pockets on the Koobli.... they were nice and deep...and were a good width to stick anything I needed in i.e. a pack of crayons.... with a ton of room to spare...lol. The other great thing is that they can stand up to a lot... but are priced low so if you really get messy you can chuck it out. I washed ours in cold water...and they came out as soft as they were when they went out.

The blueberry colour is my fave.... no big surprise there... but the elastic bands in the arms were great, they were tight enough to not rid up... but stay put when I do get a chance to roll up my sleeves.

They are stain and water resistant....non-toxic..flame retardant and even folds up...when you fold it, you can flip it into the pocket which turns it into a bag. It was great for throwing into our travel bag... I wish they made kid size ones! I really like the soft material.

Sol Tote - Review and Giveaway!!!

I received a black large Sol Tote from Optari... and also an Owl Fobb! ("M" is really into owl's right now so I thought she'd like it...). Optari comes from a Latin word for "to desire"....and they LOVE to develop colourful, fun and stuff that people want!

The Sol Tote is made from the same material Crocs are made of I think.. I couldn't find any info on the type of materials they use...but it feels exactly the same and it has holes in it so you can accessorize your bag. (hence the Owl Fobb....totally cute... and big enough to make a statement!). They have a bunch of Fobbs to choose from like initials...flowers...sports...bugs... really cute. The bottom of the bag looks like the sole of a shoe... (love!) and the inside is one big compartment (perfect for a trip out with a 2 1/2 year old let me tell you!). Everything is totally washable..literally...I threw mine in the sink when M's juice leaked a bit. The handles are comfortable and fits perfect on my shoulder.

They were also featured at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards event when Ernest Borgnine was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Sorry...not going to lie... some big names totally scored an awesome bag! Oh...and there are different styles and size...large.... small, wristlets, and backpacks! They're also looking for some new ideas! So submit your ideas :)

Seventh Generation - Product Review and Giveaway!!

As part of making my home more "green" I've tried a bunch of different products to do my share to help preserve the environment. Since "M" joined our family, my whole outlook has changed.... and honestly, I don't think I even did it consciously. As a parent you try to protect your children from every danger you can think of..... and making sure they have a safe and healthy planet to live on certainly moved up on my "to-do" list. I started with the little things.... recycling crayons...teaching "M" how to recycle.... buying a few cleaning products and donating anything we no longer find useful.

Now we're in to reusable containers, shopping bags and literally recycling almost everything. We've actually gotten down to 1/2 a garbage bag a week...I'm sorry...but I'm impressed and proud of us! Every garbage day as I pull out of the driveway I see bags and bags of garbage. I know the neighbors....or at least have seen the majority of them (LOL)...and no one has a 100 people living in their homes so I can't figure out how they make so much garbage.

As part of the review for Seventh Generation I received coupons for a household cleaning, laundry and a dish washing product alongside 2 coupons for either a package of diapers or wipes. A ton of stuff to try out.... and I didn't have to lose sleep over any of it! I also received a lunch bag which "M" has officially dubbed her "sack"...lol... not exactly sure what that's about....but she's cool with me putting her snacks in it when we're off on our next adventure, so I'm happy.....

The baby products are soft and free of chlorine and are hypoallergenic. I got the wipes to try because "M" isn't in diapers during the day, so I wouldn't be able to test the absorption. I did however give the other coupon to my neighbor that has a 4 month old, so she's going to let me know all the deets! The wipes are thick (but not too thick), have a bit of stretch to them...and are unscented. I did notice that my hands were a bit sticky after I tried them out myself but once they dried it went away and left my hands soft. "M" didn't have a problem with them and neither did her sensitive skin :)

The laundry products are plant derived and actually have natural fabric softeners. I did a load of laundry today and no issues... one thing I did notice was that once the cycle was over and I put the clothes in the dryer, they didn't have any soap residue on them (which sometimes my regular detergent has).

The dish products come in scented (with whole essential oils) and a fragrance free version. Of course I got the scented one.... it cleaned the dishes I washed by hand pretty good and my hands didn't dry out... so that got a big check mark!

The household cleaners were my favorite...they are also are plant derived.... but did an awesome job too. Little miss copy cat (as we now call her) likes to help clean and I know that if I give her a little squirt on the counter and give her a paper towel to wipe it off, I have nothing to worry about. They don't burn the skin, don't smell like chemicals and she seemed to have a good time, which just made it all the more fun.

Baby and You (Mom Central) - Baby and You Facebook Site Review

All of you know that I do quite a few campaigns for Mom Central...so I was really excited when they introduced me to a really cool Facebook page for a ton of cool stuff for Mom and Baby... including exclusive coupons, Mom bloggers (Mommy Moment and Lisa from Growing Your Baby) and a great group of people to connect with.

Truth be told.... almost everyone you know is probably on Facebook.... so why not take a peek and meet some other Moms (Dads are welcome too!)...share some pics... funny stories, experiences and even provide some suggestions and support for those who are needing it :)
